Custom Infographics for Traffic Development

Can porn sites build traffic using infographics? For adult website operators seeking additional traffic sources, the answer is “yes.”

According to Wikipedia, “Information graphics or infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge. These graphics present complex information quickly and clearly … [to] communicate concepts using a single symbol to process information.”

[Infographics] help communicate complex ideas in a clear, compact and beautiful way, taking deep data and presenting it in visual shorthand.

Writing for Business 2 Community, Sarah Faglio explains that creative, informative infographics serve as great links to share and promote; delivering enhanced SEO value and ranking the author site higher in the search engine results. She also notes that these informative graphics are highly versatile, being applicable to near any topic or industry.

“This versatility allows them to be useful in building links from valuable and authoritative sources,” Faglio stated. “Having control over the content and graphics allows you to create an aesthetically pleasing infographic that is tailored to your target audience’s interests; positioning you as a subject matter expert and creative thinker.”

According to Visual.ly, the world’s largest community for sharing infographics and data visualizations, these communications tools are shifting the ways in which people find and experience stories — creating a new way of seeing the world of data.

“[Infographics] help communicate complex ideas in a clear, compact and beautiful way, taking deep data and presenting it in visual shorthand,” states the Visual.ly website.

The company offers a free collection of the best infographics from around the Internet for enjoyment, reference and sharing. Designers can use the website’s portfolio feature to showcase their infographic work.

Visual.ly is also building a tool that will allow users to quickly and easily create and publish their own professional quality infographic designs, using their own data sets.

While infographics may be best suited to more detailed, technical applications, where highlighted bullet points and brief takeaways can be visually enhanced, other already “visual” applications (such as adult entertainment offerings) can also creatively benefit.
